Version Info: This is the High Performance version of the Freewing F-5 Tiger II. As of 9/1/2023 this model now comes with the upgraded 3658-2150Kv inrunner brushless motor, a newly designed 12-Blade EDF, 100A ESC and hybrid metal gear servos.
Introducing the fifth jet in Freewing's 80mm EDF Jet Series, the iconic F-5 Tiger II. This RC airplane proudly wears the livery of the CAG’s jet of the VFC-111 “Sun Downers”, an adversary training squadron in Key West, Florida. Freewing’s rendition incorporates a thicker airfoil to enhance the lifting body design of the original F-5, imparting the stability of an RC model with the standoff scale looks of the real jet. This exciting F-5 model provides speed and scale agility in a stable platform that also looks great!
Freewing's 80mm F-5 Tiger II is the perfect size for easy transport without the need for disassembly.
